Absolutely bud, gives ya that quick jolt ya need. I swear, there was a time period where I lived off black coffee and smokes ha-ha.

Heard this for the first time today, not sure what to make of the "shiny happy" production or Patton's vocals (bizarrely whiney) on this one but there are some good tracks here, hopefully a grower. "Surprise, Your Dead" is cool. Love Angel Dust so hoping this sticks.

Shiny Happy People is a great tune.

Not sure that was the best description but it was the first thing I could think of - it sounds "fun" no doubt

Yeah, there are some potentially killer tracks lost a little in average production (why is it so tinny?) and Patton's not at his best here... still fun though. Did they ever realease a remaster? No idea what version I have if so.

This is a fascinating album. It's a true FNM album musically before Patton totally derailed their music direction (which I happen to also enjoy).
I think I'll review one day. Lots to say about this one.
I think it's easy to misunderstand for ppl who come to it after Angel Dust and the the later albums in their discography.
