Raskulinecz has done some awesome work with Deftones, Rush, and such. He also did the last 10 Years album which I enjoyed immensely. Not everything he touches turns to gold but he's definitely one of the better producers for rock out there imo.

definitely the most fun BB song they've done in a long time for sure
'Close Your Eyes' also really reminds me of their Phobia days

Can't help but think a lot of Korn's Prey for Me whenever I hear Close Your Eyes.

Torn In Two has some great guitar riffs to play along to for me
and yeah, Close Your Eyes is kind of similar to Prey for Me, but both definitely have their unique sounds that set each other and each band apart

To the author of this review and people that say this is textbook Breaking Benjamin album, yes they aren't breaking new ground or innovating on this album but I feel they've tightened up their best strengths and worked on their biggest weaknesses of the last several album and delivered their best since their Saturate/We Are Not Alone days.Their songwriting is up to their usual standards yet they tweaked some elements of their soundscapes and added a few ambient bits that help make this a less generic listen than their previous few albums.I feel this is a definite step up for the band overall and can't wait to see what they follow this up with.I give it a 3.8 out of 5.

God I've tried way too hard to get into this album, I just can't do it. Save Yourself has the worst fucking hook of any BB song easily. It's so bland even for them.

"I'LL LEAVE THIS WORLD TONIGHT" in the fucking most basic BB melody. it's like they weren't even trying.

My main issue with this is how much it bleeds together. The only songs that ever stick in my head are Feed the Wolf, Red Cold River, and Torn in Two. Those three tracks are incredibly solid, but everything else is just merely meh. And then there’s The Dark Of You... -shudders- fuck that song

I think that's one of the best tracks on here, if anything it's the most different track on the album.

It definitely breaks up the sonic monotony, so I can give it props for that, but I just thought the execution was awful. I went from just kind of merely passing through the track list to being slapped in the face lol

I always seem to be in the minority when I say this is basically tied for best BB album with Phobia... idk why but this album is just too good to me
