Anyone know what’s up with the EP showing up on Spotify? It calls it simply Panopticon but the album art says Aerial Ruin and it definitely has his logo on it

Moss Beneath the Snow might be the best Panopticon song. Austin's range while still playing like, all the fucking instruments, damn dude

Think I'm in the minority, but honestly slightly prefer the folk disc to the black metal one on this.

They're both great, mind, bloke don't miss

Kentucky is probably my least favorite of his. Hard to pick a favorite. This one has grown on me. The closer is one of my favorite panopticon songs

Just got this in the mail.

Wanted to emphasize that an album opens itself up even greater with liner notes and artist interpretations of the songs meanings. The packaging for this is gorgeous too.

Was sitting back today and listening to this......thinking this album couldn't have hit me at a better time.

Nice! I was just getting my mind blown by how savage Chase the Grain sounded and was yearning for another record from him.

saw someone say the new track had Hate Forest vibes and at first I A. threw up and B. scoffed at the idea but it is a pretty aggressive look for recent panopticon

On first listen, Moth Eaten Soul does sound a bit like a different band's style. I can't put my finger on who. Definitely more focused/deliberate in its darkness and aggression. As for Know Hope, it... has a lot going on lol. Funnily enough the thrashy section towards the end has a similar chord progression to Chase the Grain.

Moth Eaten Soul is straight up Hate Forest or Death Fortress.
