When the Blue Finally Came, Title Track, and Pyramids of Salt are definitely the top cuts.

Maybe it’s just the genre or my lack of experience with the genre but this seems incredibly homogenic to me

I still think the last 3 tracks are their best stretch ever

Is it weird that I'm getting big Fall Out Boy vibes from a lot of this which I've never really heard in their stuff.

The first half is vastly superior to the second.

Yeah, this is like FOB x Dangerous Summer x Manchester Orchestra

Also Pyramids of Salt starts out like a less submerged Antlers track.

Album is fucking brilliant.

The production is kind of odd. My leaked copy actually sounds a bit crisper and more balanced than the spotify edition, so idk what the fuck is going on there.

Yeah this is doing nothing for me. Hate his vocals now (guess he does the Been Gibbard thing where he over-exaggerates all his vocals ticks now? Every song has the same lyrical vibe ("I have to save you/I should've saved you/I want to save you/I need to save myself") and the slow songs are just dregs.

Was really hoping for a great final stretch of songs to save it but they just don't grab me at all.
