Halfway through and I liked the opener and Bloodlust. Wake Me was more boring than Rapture.

Desperate Times is prolly the best Underoath song all time
There's Spirit comparisons here for sure, I mean they literally wanted Oli and the other guy to produce, but it's not as obnoxiously terrible as that album
|
| |
Desperate Times for best song really? It’s a jam but c’mon it was a lead single

You could make a cool ep out of On My Teeth, Hold Your Breath, No Frame, & In Motion. You could feed the rest of the album to the trashcan.

Really poppy album. Polarizing to say the least... I still dug a fair amount of songs on here regardless. In Motion fucking ruled and is probably my favorite next to Bloodlust.
Hated the buzzy guitar tone on this though.

ok after my second listen i’m feeling on my teeth bloodloss hold your breath no frame and in motion are great. rapture and wake me are the only songs i actively dislike, the rest is prettty decent

how would lead single disqualify it from being their best song tho. what's the logic there
|
| |
Anyone heard the bonus tracks?
|
| |
lol Alright it was a dumb thing to say but imo Underoath’s best songs have been when they crank up the dynamics and experimentation, not very lead single-appropriate traits
