^truth; when I say NMHN isn't a priority I mean it relative to this band's work...it's still great.

Great album throughout. Yume was really great but I wish the back half had something more Bask-esque to really feel complete. Still, I loved all of these songs.

It's so intense/fiery, but also catchy as hell. What's not to like?

It feels a lot more generic in comparison to the rest of the album. Also something irks me about the like vocal thing that starts the song

The segue that's created from "It's hard work having a soul" at the end of Canyon and the band shouting "let's get to work" at the beginning of Bask is one of the best moments in the album.

Yeah man it's close for me too. This may have better production and songwriting but that one just had so much atmosphere and personality.

Check out their other material if you liked this. They're incredibly talented and consistent.

Also check Tigers on Trains. It's the same singer and guitarist, but they do acoustic folk.

Yeah unfortunately these guys impress me most when they're more restrained so I'm not enjoying this as much as I'd like.
