if there's one style of music in metal I'm not too irked about if it's repetitive it's atmo bm. kind of like techno, that's almost the point at times imo.

@osmark: oh yeah I get that, but there are certain artists (in my admittedly limited experience) who know when to change it up just enough to keep it interesting. Not saying these guys aren’t one of them, was simply a snap first-time reaction.

oh definitely mate. for me it's more about the general feeling. like paysage d'hiver for example. very repetitive songs, but the feels are immense. it just sucks you right on in and the subtle changes are great. it's actually kind of hard to describe what it is about why certain atmo bm albums fail for me whereas others just hit the spot I'll admit.
