how dare you mock Nick Raskulinecz's production

Gore is mastered...weirdly. There's some emphasis in the treble (at about 5kH and 10-12kHz to my ears) that gives it really bad glare on cymbals and some vocal lines (like "S" and "Ch" type sounds). And the upper bass (100Hz or so) is bumped way up, which makes it sound really stuffy and bloated.
