Not a big loss for music.

Emo rap is now a genre on rym and i'm sad. The majority of the entries are just emo lyrically. Kind of hard to find stuff that is actually emo esque.

we got abstract hip hop & conscious hip hop that are used to describe the records as they may be lyrically, so who cares

Abstract hip hop isnt just lyrical though. It has unorthodox rapping and beats. Conscious is dumb though.

I have no problem with the genre tag, I welcome it. It's just more valuable for me to just use other websites to learn about emo rap and trap. rym voters dumb.
