On first listen it has more highs than SAT1, but is a bit weaker as a whole.
'GUMMY', what an opener. Really liked 'SWEET' and 'JUNKY' as well.

vocally, no one sounds better than he does. terrific delivery. but lyrically, it's kind of the same shtick over and over again (even though we know he's aware of it). besides that one verse on fight i can pretty much guess what he's gonna rap about

exactly how I feel ryus except it applies to the album overall. Kevin, Ameer, Dom and Merlyn all rap about exactly what you expect them to at every given point even though we know they're capable of more (Merlyn on SWIM/MILK can be quiet and heartfelt but here he's just the brash comic relief, Ameer can be funny on TRIP but here he just reiterates how he don't trust nobody like twenty times, Dom can go hard on GOLD/BUMP but here he's just sad relationship guy etc etc)
I think Joba and Matt are my MVPs on this purely because they actually manage to do stuff I don't expect unlike literally every other member (Matt on JUNKY, Joba every damn time he pops up)

Idk, it's a mixture that works soooo well. It'd be great if they slightly vary it in the future but I'm not complaining at all
