Yeah, I had gotten into the band from their first few albums a year prior and aside from a few songs I kinda felt like I Am Alive was ehhh. "Face of the Earth" is easily their worst single imho, sounds so generic and boring. I loved a few cuts like "A Midwestern State of Emergency" but most of it was only slightly better than the lead single.

I'd say Shipwreck > Discovering > WBIEF > this > Rescue > Wind > I Am Alive = Arrivals

honestly have no idea why wind is the highest its good but not nearly their most consistent
from what ive heard: shipwreck>rescue>waterfront>wind shifts>when broken is easily fixed>arrivals

I honestly could never get too into I Am Alive, I've given that one at least 10 or so listens by now and it still hasn't clicked beyond "eh, it's alright."

I have always liked a hard rock approach to post hardcore and that's what I thought they did with that album compared to their others. Plus, I am not quite as big on their more pop punk side and that album left most of that style to the wayside.

Yeah, I think it just went a little too far away from what I loved about the early work and songs like "Face of the Earth" being as generic as they were didn't help.

Really? I love that song. I think Midwestern to Buried at Sea is a really great stretch of songs on that album.

their hidden location is at the end of the deluxe version of "A Shipwreck In The Sand". Got an MXPX cover or something on there too.
