i think there'll be another song tomorrow. honestly just interested in how bad they can get at this point. the last single was atrocious

I actually think they do the poppy stuff best atm, like Mourning in Amerika. That's a genuinely good song. I felt like the new single had a similar vibe, but the chorus sounds kinda stupid at times and the album cover is just bland as fuck. I'm happy if there are a few great tracks, I guess

don't remember liking Mourning in Amerika at all lol
Tragedy + Time is a really good one though/good showcase of them doing pop well these days
idk what i want from this band anymore tbh but Black Market will probably be their last great outing at this rate.

The Numbers was pretty okay tbh, probably better than all of this minus maybe The Violence or Miracle. like if you aren't tired of typical Rise Against, you'll probably think it's good. definitely still just feels washed (which idk, should i cut them slack because they're old or is this just what they're going for?) but it at least sounded like they were trying to do something with it...kinda

Nah, i really dig Mourning in Amerika. And I just listened Ti Nowhere Generation again and I dig it too tbh. RA definitely have a problem with being too much by the numbers though imo, but I'm a prog guy so what do I know?
And I definitely enjoy quite a few songs here. Not so big on The Violencr though, but I like the title track,
House on Fire, Welcome to the Breakdown, Parts per Million, Mourning in Amerika and Miracle (best song here, no contest)
It's not great, but the good stuff here is still quality imo
Production is questionable though

I am also not tired of typical Rise Against, because I didn't listen to them in ages. That helps, i guess

The first(?) single sucked but The Numbers is fine, might check the album if in need of catchiness.
also t/t is the best here imo, plus the bonus tracks where they try to punk a bit

agreed but appeal was consistently good fun even if it wasn't up to that level and endgame and tbm both had a few great tracks
sad to say i barely remember any of this but i will check the new single, nowhere generation was very not good though

appeal had some good tracks for sure
including savior

Huh Numbers is possibly the best political song they have done in awhile. Its actually not terrible

Numbers has a cool verse, an okay-ish chorus and a lame outro. Title track is ass and gave me Paradise City vibes for a moment.

"We are not the names that we've been given, we speak a language you don't know. We are the nowhere generation, nowhere generation. TAKE ME DOWN TO THE PARADISE CITY."

The Numbers and Broken Dreams, Inc. are fairly good, but Nowhere Generation is utter balls.
New album could go anywhere.

The Numbers isn't really memorable imo

Broken Dreams was bleh, Nowhere Generation was somehow worse
The Numbers is fine, no more, no less

listening to Mourning in Amerika and the vocal melody in the verse reminds me of that Fall Out Boy song, "Are we growing up or just going down, only a matter of time until we're all found out..."
it's okay, not a huge fan tbh. like it's trying to be catchy but just isn't catchy/good enough for me to care
