I liked riot and i went into this thinking it would be different given the band changes and the years that have passed (so not like I was expecting riot vol. 2) but this is a little too poppy or too something for me. And that's from someone who loves strong melodies in any genre. Maybe I'll give it a few more tries but so far everything is just decent and nothing is really wowing me.

Its good, that's about it. A bit boring, the self-titled for better or worse was at least more varied.

Brand New Eyes was easily their peak imo, also much better than Riot.

I had a feeling No Friends was sung by the singer of MeWithoutYou! I'm really enjoying this. Also, Brand New Eyes was awesome, much better than Riot

I love both Brand New Eyes and Riot, but yeah, BNE is probably the band's best. Either way, all of their records so far are a 4 or a 4.5 as far as I'm concerned :D

Did not know, but makes sense. That song caught me off guard, thought I was listening to the wrong album there for a sec.

Brand New Eyes is their most mature because a lot of it deals with a real relationship break-up within the band, so both sides of it are interjecting their energy in the album, which makes for a lot of compelling moments. I like it, the debut, and this around the same currently.
