If I'm remembering the right thing, I remember liking one called Close Without Closure I think? Super catchy. The rest just didn't do it. Sad what happened to these guys.

Never listened to Franzinos solo album, but listened to a couple tracks and it almost sounds like a demo for this ... didn’t realize what an impact he had on the change in sound.

Lol it's legit all his fault that Kurt was forced out, this album sounds the way it does, and this band broke up, fuck Franzino

I have emailed a bit with Cory. He ended up giving up on his poetry book and didn't seem to be in the happiest place. Seems like a real nice guy, wish he was still making tunes.

fuck franzino (2)
this record does slap so hard though. sucks that he broke them up and they were probably miserable while making this, but it is very good, not to mention very misunderstood I feel.

Yuuuup. I think this album edges past their previous material, just for my tastes. I love it. No joke, I'm still trying to conceptualize a minimalistic tattoo representing what this album meant to me when it came out.

Those in DIVISI hit me hard when this released, and spoke really specifically to the kind of existential dread and anxiety that permeate most of my existence. Def getting a simplistic tattoo of just the word "DIVISI" somewhere in the near future

I really never liked the vocals on this one. That's what ultimately got me to dislike it after loving their previous two. Not really into many of the choruses either. The drums always own though.

Cory’s gave me trouble initially, but they grew on me a lot over the years. Matt, to me, sound a lot like Kurt at times. Not just in tone either, but the way he accents some lines and his phrasing .
