I like Summer Nerves. But yeah I think Left Handed Dream is one of my least favorites of his. I think a good place to start with Sakamoto is his 1980s work with David Sylvian, and Chasm. Chasm might still be my favorite Sakamoto release overall. The sounds of a future yet to come.
