Brainwashed was ok. I probably didn't give it as much time as I should. I liked their first album so much that I really didn't want to watch them inevitably fall flat at some point.

I have been a massive fan of this band since they started and I cannot fathom how fans of this band see this as their best album, and a step forward for the band. I went to see Sleeps a couple of nights ago and I couldn't believe how much this album has affected the demographic of their fanbase. I think the biggest problem with the new album is not only that Mat sings far too much on it (Sleeps are a metalcore band lest we forget) but i actually (can't believe i'm saying this) find myself getting bored every time I listen to it. Silence Speaks and You Are We are the two songs I love. The rest are, well, average at best. Makes me very sad to say that.
