"I fucking force feed my sob story to every person i talk to"

It's not like the dude flew to aus, kidnapped you, tied you to a chair and made you listen to the album.

ok so,

"this album relies almost entirely on the effectuality of the contextual tie

the contextual tie is not very relatable unless you draw some kind of exxxtra contrived comparative to your own life."

I'm really not finding your first statement to be that convincing a criticism, though obviously you see it the same way from the other side. You are also dismissing that there's any present atmosphere to the songs in and of themselves, which personally I think there is, as is the case with everything I've heard from this guy.

There's this other thing called "empathy", that you might wanna look into.

"it somehow comes across as "forced yet genuine". it feels like mr. eerie knew this shit was unnecessary but nutted it out anyways."

That one's all you as far as I can tell

"and musically it's quite a sloppy much of a muchness type affair"

you're going to have to elaborate on this one, though I agree that he doesn't appear to be playing straight some of the time, which makes sense considering how deep these songs probably affect him. It makes sense that he probably did all these songs in quick takes, since I remember reading that he said he didn't want to these songs to lose meaning for him by playing them too often.

"it's ineffectual, boring, tired... but perhaps most sadly propped up by the "powerful" themes"

again, all you

"it's a waste"

of?
