Watched a different interview last night and I thought the guy was humble.
Keepin' it real, respectful, intelligent, well-spoken and generally seems like a cool dude.
Got a few more weeks; we'll see what's up! Ha-ha

Just a normal as fuck bloke, there's not one jot of bullshit. He could literally be anyone from me local.
I could weep tbh. It's people like Mr Williamson who renew the excitement, passion and 'feelings' for music that always stay with you but get dampened by so much dross.
|

Exactly Zak! It gives me a good perspective into what they're doing; real lads, no bull shit.
Besides liking their music and what not, it's a huge plus knowing it could be from your own backyard you don't feel alienated from it, hits right home.
I had no idea about em' and I'm being floored once more.. thank Christ I found these guys.
Reminds me of kicking back ideas on turntable/mixers with my old buddies and fucking around, love it.

I don't buy records as much as I used to dude, but back in the day it was almost ritualistic for me. I always wanted to get involved with the 'artist' and what they're doing or whatever y'know? I'd buy the merch gloss the lyrics, bookends, pictures or whatever than eagerly hop the shows.. especially if it was local.. felt like you were part of something.. especially with the crowds we used to get, real blast. I don't know if it's music or me, but I feel less-connected with it now. I'm not sure if it's how music is distributed now or I find a lot of the newer acts less convincing.. I always wonder sometimes ha-ha.
Much respect for the Mods, desperately need it.

It's the all consuming blob jeff. Mushifies everything, tells you what you need, when you need it and pacifies absolutely anything in its path.
Quite a few kick back against it. Once every blue moon someone stamps on the fucker.

Couldn't agree more, always waiting for it! Where were you in the 90's? I'm past my prime, can't do it forever ha-ha!
Pistols.. Clash.. daily rotation! Should've seen Seattle back than, you would've loved it. Can't remember half the names, but so many good shows Zak.

Jealous as fuck!!!
I was born in 1980 so come high school I fell into Nirvana. 1992 was the year it all happened. Still the single biggest musical impact I've known. They just threw the doors open and I was enthralled.
Mid teens and it was very very very much yank alt rock along with The Smiths, Blur, The Who, Beatles, Small Faces, PROPER SKA!!!! Soul. Early to mid 20s led me on to metal that I'd very much missed out on first time round and it's all just grown since then dude to the point I've turned into a jazz wanker.
A common thread through it all though is the Pistols, Clash, Dylan, dance stuff. I've always spun it. It'll always be loved.
Punk always resonates. That feeling of getting it off your chest and wanting to grab someone by the throat can only be found with punk.
At heart though I'll always be a mopey, alt rocker with a big baggy black jumper.
