Download this, Irony is a Dead Scene, and Calculating Infinity, and on first listens this was my favorite.

I'm a huge minority but I think Calculating Infinity is not only one of the best albums I've listened to, but also one of the most defining albums of it's time-era. It sucks because basically every DEP album after that is automatically compared to Calculating Infinity

I remember seeing in a fairly recent interview with Greg on Metal Injection, he was asked sarcastically, "Why don't you guys just keep recording Calculating Infinity over and over again?"

Well I applaud them for not trying to do that, but in reality they are just never going to peak what that album accomplished

In terms of historical importance, I'll agree. But I like this album just as much as Calculating Infinity. While that album is great for just sheer insanity and energy, this one has much more ups and downs, and I like Greg's vocals much more.

Which album should I start with: Calculating Infinity, Miss Machine, or Ire Works? I wanna get into these guys, but i'm not sure where to start.

Calculating Infinity with out a doubt. It's good to start off with a band's older albums first before their new one.

CI was my gateway into the band, and i don't think there's any better choice for it, so go with balls' advice.

Unretrofied...terrible? I'm hoping your talking about Panasonic Youth because if not, i'm offended. Video is pretty b.a too. Don't fuck with Greg's singing.

Sunshine the Werewolf and Setting Fire are the two best on here.

^^Good to see some other fans of Unretrofied. No Thor, I wasn't sure what his comment was directed too. I would love to see these guys live, especially Sugar Coated Sour.
