Crash love is probably mine but this is 2nd. I haven't heard anything pre black sails but I'm pretty sure it's all better

Probably true, but I think a lot of it's definitely still really fun for somewhat unspectacular 90's shit. I'd even say Shut Your Mouth and Open Your Eyes is pretty overlooked due to Sails and the rest of their golden era.

also they've always murdered live

yeah i don't mean to say their first 3 albums are bad by any stretch of the imagination. it was good fast melodic punk, which i like.

Always funny watching people argue about which AFI albums are better. I'm not into their early punk stuff, personally. The people that swear on those 3 albums being their best are the type of people whose music tastes never evolved much.
