Not his best album, but a bit underrated.

Neighbors is honestly a fall off track for me. was my fav for a long time but now i think it's kinda meh.
Title Track is top 5 J Cole songs ever. Immortalz is a great song, Change is probably top 10 J Cole, and Vile Mentality is just such a dope concept.

Revisiting this album on a whim just because and yeah it's better than I remembered. Change is hands down my favorite J. Cole song.

First 3 tracks + Neighbors are great. The rest....yikes.
|
| |
I'll give it to Cole. He did waaaaay better on the Exchange beat than Bryson Tiller did.

what the fuck are you seriously dismissing the title track at the end? That's easily J Cole's best song ever. It's like Sing About Me I'm Dying of Thirst but way more introspective and compelling.

Yeaaaa nah I'm good on that song. Didn't move me when I first heard it while listening to the album. Doesn't move me now.

U see the whole noname / jcole ""beef"" ?
two songs came outta that ...
|

Title track is lame as fuck, like 99% of this
This dude is so overhyped in the hip hop community, I just do not get it at all. Even FHD had a bunch of weak crap laced in

I respect jcole cuz he signed JID and that dude is 1000x better than anyone in dreamville

But JID is like, the only comparable rapper to Kendrick and that's saying something
|

That's pretty hurtful Ryus I thought we were part of half Indian gang
