first half is pretty solid, the 2nd was a little disappointing

@Willie - that description sounds amazing. It seems like the kind of track that this album is missing. Sucks that it's only available on the Japanese version. Hopefully, they'll release it digitally at some point in the near future.

I hate this album cover so much I have this intense desire to not even listen to the damn thing. That's a rare thing for me. To be so turned off by an album cover. It's the most edgelord album cover I've ever seen. Wow.

BUT... I'll get around to this album tomorrow. They used to be one of my favorite bands back when I knew next to nothing about music. But I have a soft spot for S/T, Life is Peachy and Issues.

I'm disappointed that iTunes doesn't have any Deluxe version with the bonus tracks. Just the standard release.

this is one of those albums where everyone rates it highly out of overreaction to a band not releasing something abysmal for once, isnt it?

JD is the weak link. The lyrics are expectedly cheesy, and he has this way of taking the wind out of a song with his bland chorus melodies.

That being said, I'm digging a lot of the musical choices here. This is a huge step up from their recent albums, and it's definitely the least embarrassed I've felt listening to Korn in quite some time.

Insane is honestly their best song in 15 years.

The irony is intolerable.

This album is a tragic regression. And it sure doesn't hold a candle to The Paradigm Shift.

Why do you think The Paradigm Shift wasn't a straight return to form ? Because the band doesn't give a shit about doing the same old bad music they used to make in the 90s.

This is cringeworthily gimmicky and for the first time I feel like mocking them for doing that kind of music at their age. "There is nothing in my head, there is nothing in my head" Yeah, I commiserate with you Jonathan, you all were on autopilot for this.

Yeah I'm ok. My writing is always a bit too emphatic. I love you all.

But this album is meh.

I don't understand the comparisons with Untouchables or Take a Look in the Mirror.

To me it sounds like the direct follow up to Issues.

Issues and Untouchables aren't too far off in sound. I defenitily hear the comparisons with Untouchables. I've always looked at Untouchables as a less heavy more melodic side of Issues, but that's me.
