I don't think this sounds like a continuation of the last album much, except maybe Symptom of Terminal Illness. It feels more like a greatest hits album to me. Their entire spectrum of sound is on display, and they somehow managed to expand upon it in parts. The chaotic parts are as chaotic as ever, maybe more so. The melodic parts are even more melodic. The experimentation is incredibly ambitious--even by their standards. I'm not ready to say that it tops any of their strongest albums, but it at least deserves to be in the discussion.

I agree with Honeysuckle. Wanting... is straight madness too, up until the transition.

Okay, got hints of 43% Burnt and Sugar Coated Sour in the drums and guitars but Greg either isn't capable of matching Dimitri's level of batshit or he just wants to save his voice for life after the band.

It's really difficult to listen to Apologies Not Included without trashing my living room.

Not sure if that "lol" is cause you think he is (he isn't) or cause you just liked the batshit part.
