Meshuggah was my first concert ever back when I was around 14 when they toured with Ministry. Absolutely bonkers. This was around the time Haake had undergone shoulder surgery. Crazy to think that was 10 years ago. Saw them headline about two years ago and it was maddening. The groove was strong in everyone that night.

First time I saw them they were touring with Whitechapel who were touring their trash New Age of Corruption album
Last time i saw them we were late because we didn't have time to smoke up on the way there via my asshole friend being as punctual as a fucking dick. We smoked up in a laneway and ended up getting so high we couldn't fucking walk properly.
They slayed tho, good shit.

chug: IAC is actually a pretty straight 4/4 in the first verse. Took me a bit to hear it too since I first heard a clip that primed me to hear it differently by not starting at the beginning of the cycle, but the whole song has 4/4 laid over it with the snare on 3, nothing fancy.
