yes but this is still specific to the individual, and subjective. the point of greatest suffering in one persons life is and will always be the greatest suffering they will ever know. and to them that is suffering, and they have felt it. i see suffering as an emotive term, not just a casual descriptor. like the words 'love' and 'hate'. just like those, one persons experience of true love is no more authentic than the next persons experience of it.

yeah no dude. especially in english this is ambiguous. definitions are influenced by the development of society and culture and using definitions dryly can construct some pretty immovable limitations on bigger ideas. words are much more than just their definitions for sure.
