Golden Gal is decent, though the last half is way stronger than the first half of the song. But there are no "Monkey Riches" or "Grass" here. And by that I mean I didn't expect a repeat but I wanted something that kicked me right in the nads just like those song did

Yeah. It was the exact opposite of Centipede in a way. Centipede was all rough and abrasive and in your face and unpredictable. This was kinda flat and clean and one dimensional with no climaxes or anything. Just kinda meanders through and leaves no impressions. Not to mention that Vertical and Hocus Pocus are atrocious. Seriously top 5 worst songs ever worthy. My friend and I were listening to this together on the day of its release and when the second verse of Hocus Pocus was going we just looked at each other and busted out into laughter. Like what is that shit?

Yeah, I don't rate either of those two songs either
'Centipede' was all about that production in a similar way to how 'Embryonic' was for the Flaming Lips. I'll be honest Centipede isn't my favourite but the stuff on there I do like is up with their best. Can't really say the same about anything on this one

Centipede and Feels are my favorite. MPP is close behind. This is at the bottom. Pretty sure the only reason I didn't give it less than a 2 is because I love the band.

you know, you're right
kinda bummed there's not much talk about Colin Stetson and John Cale's contributions on Floridada (Stetson) and Hocus Pocus (Cale)
