ya album is great. i wish they did more darker sounding stuff like Come Alive.
also, really glad to hear the keyboardist is healthy enough for them to tour again. saw them on the Prisoner tour and was pretty blown away by Hayley.

meh. Didn't have any staying power and is another step in the wrong direction for them imo. Has some moments of greatness and Hayley will always be a top notch vocalist, but I'm no longer as confident in her ability as a songwritress.

My Love Is My Disease is a ridiculously powerful, catchy tune. By itself it puts my faith in their songwriting.

If it weren't followed up by "Smile" I'd tend to agree.

They'll never top Dark Storm. Band gets tedious and too samey after like the 5th song in every of their albums. Haven't heard this tho.

Smile is one of the best tracks on this though?

Noticed this album on here and gave it a listen on a whim - this whole thing is fantastic, but 'Pleasure Drive' especially is just incredible.

This has some weaker tracks (Unnatural, Mothers Passed) but as a whole it's still the best and most creative piece they've composed. When it's on (Stand and Deliver, My Love is My Disease, Smile, Come Alive, Pleasure Drive, Flowers in the Attic) it is absolutely, insanely good.

Her vocal qualities are totally wasted on that song, the chorus is just boring as shit, the instrumentation is about as nondescript and bland as this band will ever be and don't get me started on those lyrics.

Coming off the two preceding tracks, both of which are epic and way over the top, the nondescript instrumentation is fitting. It's like coming down off an insane high. Her voice sounds fine to me...the lyrics are whatever, but I find them kind of distinctive and interesting.

Her voice is always fine. But on other tracks she makes use of it, while this track could have been performed by pretty much everyone.
I dunno, aside from the first two songs this just feels bland to me overall.
