Still sucks he got kicked out cuz the albums with Lemmy are my favs from Hawkwind. Ultimately though it was a good thing overall because yeah we got years and years of awesome Motorhead in return and Hawkwind still put out some good material themselves.

Guys you should definitely check Lemmy's work with Sam Gopal, some solid psych folk. Definitely one of his most underrated material. The album is Sam Gopal - Escalator.
