Sorry guys but I think that RHCP could do more.... they stopped for many years and released this mediocre CD.... I love them but this album is not a 4 out of 5 album

Uhh...on the jupiter cd, there might be a more even mix of funk and pop, but the mars cd is mostly pop. So there's pobably more poppy stuff here then funk. None the less, it's my second favorite chili album, and i hate almost all mainstream music

Even Iron Maiden and Children of bodom and In Flames and Arch Enemy and Avenged Sevenfold and Trivium and Dream Theater and Dragonforce?

Listening to metal doesn't make you underground or bad-ass.

I thought this album was really dissapointing. The Chillis were the band that got me into music with 'By The Way'. So i eagerly anticipated this album but only to be let down, however they are still great live, saw them at Earls Court in 2006, great gig.

im not a big fan of radio bands but this isnt too bad. prefer it to their previous albums. the jupiter disc is pretty strong but only a couple tracks on the mars disc are worth listening to... and the more you listen to the songs on this album (like snow) the more you get fed up of em... bottom line : you wont be listening to this for very long. if you want an album with replay value get city of evil if you havent yet gotten a copy... i bought it quite a while back and im still not tired of it

This was a pretty fun review to read, good proportion to how fun this album is, very nice job

Storm In A Teacup gets me jumping around everytime

Hey is beautiful, as is Hard To Concentrate

I could listen to this album everyday and never get sick of it

EDIT: City Of Evil is alright, like the first couple of times I listened to it, but his voice gets really annoying when he tried to sing high. And I won't comment on where they even are now.

would have been one of, if not their best album if it were a single disc, that was 76 minutes, much like BSSM.

It took time for this to grow on me. Glad it did cause it's Brilliant album. There aren't many bands able to do 2 discs with this kind of supreme quality.

I really loved the RHCP when i was a kid, i used to practice bass by trying to play along with Blood Sugar Sex Magik. But this album stinks. Seriously, they need to stop this shit.

Woulda been better as a Single disc with both of the disc's best tracks edited down to one. C'mon Girl, Readymade, and Animal Bar are some of the worste Peppers songs ever written.

Who the hell complains about having too many tracks?

It's called a 'Next' button if you don't like it
