I really enjoy this album but I agree with this statement, not very many surprises here. Just excellent songwriting. It also sounds a lot more inspired than their last few. I do wish they would try out some more interesting structures and experimentation though, same feelings I have about Amon Amarth.

Was jamming this on the way to work this morning. It's very solid and probably my favorite since Elegy. The guitar and keyboard solos on this album are so well thought out.

Easily their best work yet! Catchy but heavy on the riffs and vocals! I'm from the same town as Tomi and just saw him do a turbonegro cover gig there. He truly is a beast on that mic :O

Saw Amorphis and Omnium Gatherum yesterday. Sick concert. Omnium Gatherum were really fun and Amorphis had a 10/10 set-list.
