The only way I can see why someone would say Kevin's song writing sucks is if they don't like pop music.
Also I'm curious as to what borrowed aesthetics on this record irk you in particular as your previous post implied you think he's ripping off/borrowing from classic psych records which obviously is hardly the case here.

Posting to defend the idea that this album is pretty unique in the general scheme of things. I could see how people think the last two are derivative, but this one clearly has its own realized sound.
Also defending the production. This CD is one of the best sounding CDs I've ever put in my car.
