okay, just wondering cause i felt the same way after my initial listen. its gotten a lot better (after like 20+ listens and skipping tracks 7 and 8) but i also think it's their worst album since their debut

it's a really low 4, more of a 3.7/3.8 but i cant do that cuz contribs are stuck with pleb ratings

love this band, everything from The Great Misdirect on is just amazing. Alaska and Colors are good too, but in a lesser way IMO.



Great review, and great album. Glad this album is a bit more melodic while retaining some really killer riffs in some parts



Also yeah, any BTBAM album isn't gonna click the first listen; you have to kinda burn it in with three or four listens just due to the density.

lol agreed. Yeah, Paralax at least has a few decent songs and one really good one.
