Nice, I'll give it a couple of spins today.

My pick I've 5'd and it has about 50 votes on here so not expecting the win lol - people seem to like I See a Darkness by Bonnie Prince Billy and I'd say Songs: Ohia is an easier listen and Molina's vocals smoother than Oldham's. It's pretty much a country album in places so that could spell trouble.

I see a darkness is one of me top 50 of all time dude. I've scanned Molinas' stuff in the past but never given an album a go. It's first up in line for a listen I can't resist a tragic story of talent gone to waste as a result of the bottle.

The 1-2 punch of Riding with the Ghost and Just Be Simple might carry me through, instant classics those two.

I've only been listening to Molina for a couple of years, it's a sad story, unbelievable talent.

i think you imagine yourself as being more bitingly sarcastic than you actually are. impressive that you plowed like 5 posts into a pretty lame joke though, that's dedicated if nothing else

Gosh sounds a bit more loose than a lot of what follows, has some manic energy and the synth solo states 'this album will have an epic quality'. Think it's a great opener

the instrumentals are cool, but the tracks with vox on them are wack.
