Not well-versed on their old discog, became a fan with TWH. But I bet they're all amazing.

Sometimes The Blues is definitely my favourite of his. But you can't go wrong with any.

so this is a little off topic but i'm playing "weather of a killing kind" at full blast through my bookshelf speakers which shouldn't really be that loud but goddamn, i was playing hardcore records earlier today and they weren't as loud as this fucking song. kris' deep rumbling vocals are shaking my to the boooooone rn man. i think there's something in...the way that it's mixed.

The fuller sound of his previous record is fleshed out even further on The Tallest Man on Earth's 4th LP 'Dark Bird Is Home'. Where Kristian Matsson used to be dubbed the Swedish Dylan, Springsteen might be the better comparison now! The full-band accompaniment is in full swing here, even if it doesn't significantly lessen the intimate nature of Matsson's songs. These 10 tracks may actually be his most personal yet, and while not exactly joyous, they are surprisingly hopeful. Most important of all is how effortless everything seems to be on this consistent album, especially the melodies. Recommended Tracks: Darkness of the Dream, Dark Bird is Home, Timothy & Slow Dance.

I think this is one of the more underrated things that happened this year. People totes overreacted to the slight War on Drugs similarity in a couple songs.
