well i pre-ordered this cause it's godspeed and I know it was gonna be good. Didn't check it until it showed up over the weekend, and I don't really see the problem with the drones on here. Is that really a valid complaint of this? There's also the complaint about the song Behemoth, which is silly on its own.

Possibly the laziest review summary I have ever read (good review though). Excited to hear this, but without huge expectations.

This review is by far the best one I have read since the album has been released! Yet, I think this album is rather "post-post-apocalyptic" than "post-apocalyptic." Surveying the aftermath of civilization, "F# A# oo" was the post-apocalyptic one. But "'Asunder...", as you indicated perfectly, reflects the unmanned world that stands on its own legs.

Album is good but all their past releases tower over this and cast a wide shadow.

I liked this a lot. It felt like they weren't really aiming with the stars much and just wanted to test the waters on a few concepts they'd had penned down for a while and see if something pleasant came of it. Thankfully, it did.

Bumped this down a bit. This is still a great album, but if I am going to listen to GY!BE, I'd probably listen to every other release before I'd listen to this one. This doesn't have nearly as much replay value compared to the rest of the discography.

I really enjoyed the last track, and the first one was pretty good as well. Like several others, I didn't care much for the drones in the middle.
