Eiley and The Art of Eye Contact were the only highlights for me. His screams aren't bad but they don't really add much to the music. I seriously wish this was poppier. There's no Pretty Little Thing, Someday, or Perfect World for that nice catchy alt rock style I liked from this album. The more hardcore moments on that album are better too, while these feel more forced save for Eiley which really is a big track for the vocalist. and Eye Contact has a modern pop feel thanks to the hook and it works really well for them. The rest of this is very by the books which is a shame cuz I liked the debut

it's definitely a slight disappointment. I'm always afraid when bands they they're going to go a "darker" style because it doesn't always make it any better. I still enjoyed it though.
