for one, Devaint told me i'd be permabanned if I kept ranting about anti white racism

for another, I found this album to not be so racist after a few listens and having some of the lyrics explained to me (I wrote a review explaining this), still it deals with the topic sensationally (but really so does most rap, especially modern rap) and i'd only give this a 3.5-4.5

and lets be clear I hate most of GKMC and think its easily the most overrated album of our generation.

Whats wrong with GKMC

-the cringe-worthy lyrics throughout the album that are only excused cuz his flow

- his smug attitude on songs like Bish don't Kill my Vibe

-his arrogance on Money Trees

- his obnoxiousness on Backseat Freestyle

-his corniness on Real

- his sappy soft shit on Poetic Justice (which was cringe worthy enough to ruin the entire album on its own, some 8th grade romance shit)

-most of all the way he was entirely flow-oriented and lyrics/meaning were always secondary and incredibly verbose and sloppy.

Some dope dope tracks like Black Boy Fly, Sing About Me, the title tracks and even Swimming Pools for binge drinking but on the whole, making that album out to be the 'album of our generation' was enough to piss me off for two whole years until I seriously began my Buddhist studies.

GKMC would be as good as this if it wasn't for all of the phone calls and stuff in between. I gave it a 4.5/5. Well because this a very important record. It brings the sound of classic hip-hop back to the mainstream. Also, if you listen to the subject matter in the lyrics, it's very up front and honest about some very evident matters in our society as it is today.

See I understand that. Oh and Swimming Pools (Drank) isn't as good as the rest of that record, or any of this record.
