actually i rate everything on this album 'fairly' ie based on how i like it and i would encourage everyone else to do the same, so if you hate this then power to you but if you're downrating this just to make some strange point then... well, i can't stop you. the idea i do it to make my own album look better, though? that's utterly ridiculous.

oh and just for the sake of numbers, i have wayyyyy more albums highly rated than lowly rated. i use the rating scale as fairly as possible - if i hate something, it's awful. if i love it, it's superb/classic and anything between. you really don't have to respect my opinion about liking and disliking certain albums. i honestly do not care, and you shouldn't either as it's completely arbitrary to care about what some other person thinks about an album you like.

"endless albums" i think i have about 120 albums on this website lowly rated. you know, out of 1308 ratings. which means that over 90% of my ratings are neutral/positive ratings, most of which are positive. you really don't have a leg to stand on by accusing me of rating shit lowly on purpose. that's less than 10%. as for 1.0 being a 'darknoctus' rating, funny how it's the least common rating i give...

I haven't been around as long as some of you but from what I've seen it's pretty accurate though what dude says, lol. I don't think there has been a single release I've seen that consistently gets a lot of 4's and aboves without a Noctus 1.5, 2 or 2.5 to match it. I just see that if it's low rated by him it's probably actually a good release. Well, black metal anyway not sure how he rates other genres.

not sure, maybe they are spread out - but just my experience is seeing generally high rated releases pretty low rated by him, almost always. Not sure what his high scores are for.

actually decided to have a look and the most common rating i give is a 3.5, meaning 'great'

i really cannot fathom why people think my rating system is unfair when the majority of my ratings are positive
