New album isn't quite what I was hoping for but I love it for what it is.

They said when they tried stuff more similar to Inmazes it just didn't feel as fresh so I can understand wanting to go in a new direction.



The title track is no doubt one of the best songs I've heard this year. It's entirely captivating.

"Whaler" is also amazing. A song like "Still" doesn't exactly excite me however.

I don't know why but I was floored by how pretty Ruby Pool. Maybe it was because it was the only "new" song in between all the singles, but it was placed perfectly.

Yea, wanting two more songs; two more that are the quality of "Smartfriend", "Alien Shivers", t/t, and "Whaler" is my only criticism. I loooove that verse of "We are Thin Air" btw, and how it morphs into something more aggressive in the second verse. These guys are great at making a track evolve overtime.

The vocalist makes the show for sure. The Djent riffage is the main problem i have with this record that hold it back. Granted i have the same problem with Uneven Structure debut album.

Never thought I'd love a melodic djent album as much as I did this one. Owls and Inmazes are the shit.

You know those albums that you listen to so much that you don't spin them for a very long time, and then you come back and they are way better than most of the other stuff you have been listening to, like better than you even remember? Yea this is one of those albums. This is one of the best albums I know.
