Nothing short of divine inspiration could have redeemed those songs. And it seems pretty clear that isn't the case, so I'm moving right on.

I'm really trying to get into Alpha and Omega. I've only listened to each about 3-4 times, but it bores me a lot of the time. I love progressive metal but never really been a huge fan of Periphery as a whole. I've always loved some of their singles such as "Icarus Lives!" and "Scarlet" and a couple of other songs, but aside from that didn't interest me. Everyone seems to love Alpha / Omega. I'll listen to them more and see if they grow on me because I know they're a talented bunch.

Honestly progressive metal isn't really my thing, but these two albums are some of the only ones that can interest me. I'm surprised by the number of people saying that they don't like these albums tbh.

I consider Spencer to be honestly one of the worst metal vocalists I've ever come across, especially live. Just my two cents though

Just listened to this for the first time, decided to try this band out and started here. Was good, especially Heavy Heart and T/T.
