It charted horribly cause mostly teenagers are into pop-punk and they all torrent or use spotify or youtube.

Yeah but to be fair it has more to do with pop punk being a dying genre. Teens nowadays have shifted back towards the boy band pop style of one direction and whatever that other band is that sings the song with the chorus "I wish that I could wake up with a-penis." Or however that goes.
sowing no offense but this is single-handedly the most retarded thing you've ever said

Why is that? What makes that especially stupid?

not that I hang out with teens but I'm pretty sure Sowing is right, teens aren't listening to pop punk anymore. it's not like 8-10 years ago, when fall out boy, AAR, my chemical romance, all time low, simple plan, yellowcard, JEW, green day, and i'm sure countless other pop punk bands of varying caliber dominated the airwaves

Up until two months ago I taught all teens and only teens, so I have a decent idea of the trends
But maybe snake was referring to my lame joke about 5 seconds of summer being dickless. In which case, justified.

is that a new pop song? it doesn't ring a bell, but admittedly i hardly listen to the radio these days

The Story So Far, The Wonder Years, and I suppose Real Friends too have got something going.
Maybe it's not radio shit but still

Where in the hell is the Violin?!?! The only two songs that have it are the Intro thing (Convocation) and MSK. The violin is what set this band apart in the pop punk genre. With the release of this album, they are just another band with nothing special attached to them. But seriously, where is Sean this whole record? Every song on here is generic and boring. REALLY boring. I'm probably going to lower this to a 1.5 cause I can't remember what made me give this a 2.

The violin appears very significantly in the chorus of pretty much every song. It's also heavily featured in Crash the Gates and Make Me So, throughout both of those songs.
|
| |
In Make Me So, the chorus is from 0:43-0:55. Can you please enlighten me on where the violin is in this chorus, because I'm sure as hell not hearing it. Or, are you sure that you were listening to the same album as me. None of the songs have significant violin usage if any at all.

The violin is literally the most prominent instrumental melody in the chorus of Make Me So, what are you talking about?
Do you not know what an electric violin sounds like?
|
| |
Um, yeah. Like on Ocean Avenue. That's what it's supposed to sound like. I guess I'll take your word for it that it's there, but you can't really hear it. It's not on the front end of the chorus, it's in the background. Either way, the songs are not very solid for them anyway. Southern Air was great and this falls way short of that album.

I finally heard it. I had to listen REALLY close, but I hear it. FuCk YeAh I GuEsS SwAg BiTcHeS. JuSt KiDdInG I DoN't ReAlLy KnOw, YoU KnOw?
