Well im 6 songs in and 3 songs were as good as some of the weaker Come Clarity songs. Which means enjoyable but not particularly strong. The other three were average. Oooh the 7th song just started and it seems cool

I think the review is accurate, and IF should definitely heed the criticisms this album is racking up. I say that because I think they can still pull off something awesome. This album or Playground could have been that something, but they just aren't putting all of the pieces together. Maybe "The Puzzle" was actually about their creative process? Hah.
I still like a lot of this album. As someone else mentioned, despite how horrible Anders' sounds, that is the IF sound.. and it doesn't have to bring the music down. They just need to use it the right way, and put in the work to polish the turd. Maybe next time.
