I think if I saw Spawn of Possession live I would be too transfixed on their performance to move my body

Moshing is a case-by-case thing, so long as everyone is in on the fun then have at it.

Just Snoxall things

Kottonmouth Kings more like kings of m/ amirite?!? And honestly I moshed a little when I was younger but now I'm the guy that's always in the front row directly in front of a guitarist full on rocking out via head movement. It's not great on the ears but there are few things in life more satisfying imo. Would love to see SoP live. Sadly never had the chance yet

SoP is not really a band to mosh to
but how are you not gonna mosh at for instance an Aborted gig?

Aborted gigs around here have a decent amount of moshing but really if you wanna cite a pit inducing band Dying Fetus is the pinnacle in my area at least. Pure insanity. Origin also always turns to outright violence here but they're damn near local and some assholes tend to show up

Oh yeah Dying Fetus gigs always bring the carnage
I was about to see them again next month, but of course the pandemic happened

That's too bad man. They always put on a killer show and I'd love to see them play some more tracks from Wrong One to Fuck With. I actually dug that album quite a bit. A tour with them and Skinless would be a dream come true. Internal Bleeding opening would be a nice touch

I'd like to see a Skinless show with Jason Keyser behind the mic
I feel his vox fit Skinless way better than they do Origin

Oh hell yeah. A tour with him doing Trample the Weak front to back would be amazing. Didn't realize he's the Origin frontman as well. I saw him perform with Psycroptic and he fit their sound pretty well. Never had the chance to see Skinless either but I'd love to. Progression Towards Evil is probably my favorite brutal death metal album ever. Top 10 death metal in general tbh. Simple but crushing in all the right ways

With riffs this good they could’ve called it Lasagna and I wouldn’t care

That's fair. Lasagna would be a good tech-death album. Id listen to it

The lyrics could literally be about pasta, or cabinets for that matter, in any of these songs and I wouldnt be able to tell the difference anyway

More about the vocal aesthetic/delivery than the lyrics for me usually

Might up this to 4.5. Scratching the itch real good tonight. Those harmonic bends man
