I would be more apt to give an album by a band I am familiar with multiple listens if I wasn't too fond of it at first compared to a band I had never heard before.

I sorta agree, might be best just to have a 'pos or nothing' system and then if someone thinks a review is shit they can say why in the comments if they care enough to.

Not a big deal tho, if you go against the popular opinion or have pissed someone off on here maybe without even knowing it there will probably be negs whatever the quality of the review.
