Listen carefully to the sound
Of the loneliness
like a heartbeat drives you mad
And the stillness of remembering
Of what you lost
And what you had

I've always had somewhat mixed feelings about this album as a whole, but The Chain is easily one of the best songs ever written.
In general, the Nicks songs are stone-cold classics while the Buckingham tracks are a little poppy for my personal taste.

Am I the only one that absolutely despises Songbird? It's so goddamn sappy. Always seemed completely out of place sandwiched between two of the best songs ever recorded.

i think this is a little skewed sonically, I'd probably five it if one or two songs didnt feel out of place overall.
