Relistening to this and had almost forgotten how hard The Elder Things hit. This album nails relentless dissonance and overwhelmingly intense and dark atmosphere perfectly.

It certainly doesn't hurt that I'm a massive H.P Lovecraft fan, even if I can't understand most what the vocalist is saying, it reminds me of his stories.

The mixing on Saor was too wonky for me to put it higher than this (guitars were weirdly low in the mix wtf). This is just all-around well-put-together.
