I'm surprised with the amount of hate for HOTTB. I thought that was a great release. Nevertheless, the riffs on this album destroy. Love the dance beat behind a full riff like featured in Choking Game. The first two tracks combine to be arguably the best opening to any Chevelle album.

The album has a very industrial feel. They said they wanted to go that direction for a while and this is the first time they actually tried to do it. All they need now is a synth player.

This is getting surprisingly high ratings.... and yet its Chevelle? I mean I love them and they're a really consistent band but... WHAT? 4.1? That's a bit high... then again I haven't listened to this album yet so I'll have to check it out.

Twinge is Top 3 on this for sure. I didn't like "The Damned" at first but it grew on me. It's got a nice smooth flow to it but it's also chunky at the same time...kind of like my ideal peanut butter.

i'm surprised. it's straight forward yet pretty different than their most recent efforts.
only tracks i'm not really liking are jawbreaker, one ocean, and twinge. i seem to be in the minority on not liking twinge. need to give them some more love maybe.
