I can understand the style change turning you off; it did so for a lot of people. I got 'Suck Out The Poison' when it first came out, and I enjoyed it, but it was definitely a step down from 'I Am Hollywood'. 'It Hates You' started out that way, too (and my review of it stated as much)...but as the months went on and I listened and listened to it, it grew on me to the point where I can't decide whether I like it or 'I Am Hollywood' more.
In other news, they've taken to playing a lot more IAH tracks at shows nowadays. Last time I saw them, they played "Eating A Book," which was an absolute highlight. And they're playing the song "I Am Hollywood" too, which isn't my favorite on that album, but always makes for the best moments live.
