Stupid Dream is my favorite, but I love the atmosphere on this.

Probably their most atmospheric and consistent release. Light Mass Prayers is one of the most powerful songs here and their best example of atmosphere they've ever done imo. We also get a glimpse of their progressive metal future with the t/t. This and In Absentia are their best and around a 4.75 for me, like the main reviews said: amazing atmosphere, little if no filler, and some of the most emotionally resonant moments of their career, Waiting Phases and Dark Matter especially.

This honestly might be a 5, there's less weak moments than IA and I'm ridiculously close to 5'ing that one.

And wikipedia says the t/t was inspired from another song but made into an original

Hey the lyrics might be dumb but anesthetize is one of their best, t/t rules, sleep together is funny, and the rest is atmospheric and awesome

The album is good for sure, but the production/mix should have been better. It was mastered at too low

a volume. Plus....... I don't know I guess its good okay. I almost always feel like the album could

have been better, but then I look at the tracklist and realise that it all looks good. You know that

feeling
