@Dev yeah I know what you mean, it is consistently rather delicate and slight. I would like to see her have more bite sonically in the future, but I'm happy with her words and her melodies supplying the teeth this time around



I also admire her guts putting such a quiet album out in a pop world that's been very garish and convex recently, all congested production and attention-demanding beats. She could have easily cranked everything in the mix to eleven and added more obnoxious layers of bass and whatnot and gotten more radioplay for it, but went for a James Blake/Nico Jaar/In Rainbows kind of restraint. Definitely admirable

gonna check this out. I trust both Tommygun and Gyro's judgements and they are on opposite ends of the rating spectrum. This will be interesting...
